The Aran Dive Support Team (ADST) is a group of volunteer divers based on Inishmore, offering support and assistance to local authorities, island residents, and visitors whenever help is needed in or around the water.
Formed by members of the Dive Aran community, the team exists to share our diving experience and local knowledge in a practical, community-focused way.
We are not an emergency service, rather, a local support group ready to help when called upon.
Having already assisted with several local situations in the past, we aim to be organized, responsible, and ready whenever our community needs a helping hand.
The Aran Dive Support Team can
We’re a small team of divers and local volunteers based on Inishmore, using our diving experience to support the island community when needed.
Our members include both professional instructors and experienced recreational divers who share a straightforward goal to use our skills to help, support, and be ready when the community or local authorities need us.
Many of us are connected to Dive Aran, but the Aran Dive Support Team is not a commercial activity.
It’s a voluntary community project, built on cooperation, respect for the sea, and community.
