The Freediver programme builds on the foundations introduced during Introduction Freediving, or can be completed as a full two-day programme. The focus is on developing safe, comfortable and confident freediving skills at your own pace.
Training and fun dives takes place in the clear Atlantic waters around the Aran Islands, where the natural environment encourages relaxation and presence.

This session follows the Apnea Total freediving education system, one of the long-established and widely taught freediving training organisations in the world, with schools in many countries and thousands of certified students.
Apnea Total focuses on personal progress, relaxation and safety, rather than rigid performance targets a teaching style that fits naturally with the calm rhythm of freediving around the Aran Islands.
All sessions are led by our freediving instructor Julia. Julia’s calm, supportive teaching style helps students feel comfortable and confident in the water, regardless of experience.
