Cold water shouldn’t limit your diving. The SSI Dry Suit Specialty Course with Dive Aran teaches you how to dive safely and comfortably in cooler conditions, extend your diving season throughout the year, and prepare for global cold-water destinations such as Scotland, Norway, Iceland and the Arctic circle.
Dry suit diving is becoming more popular worldwide, this course gives you the confidence, buoyancy control and skills to be part of it.
Open to divers certified by any agency SSI, PADI, RAID, CMAS etc. Recommended for winter divers, traveling cold-water explorers and anyone seeking safer, warmer, longer dives.

Yes. Dry suit must be provided by the diver. We can assist to buy one if needed.
Yes. Any Open Water (or equivalent) diver from any agency is welcome.
Maximum depth is 30 m (within SSI Dry Suit standards and your certification limits).
The list is long! Divers often encounter grey seals, lobsters, crayfish, wrasse, cuckoo wrasse, and dogfish/cat sharks. With luck, you might also see basking sharks, dolphins, or even whales or a sunfish.
Visibility can range from 5 metres (17 feet) to over 20 metres, depending on conditions.
We use 12L steel tanks with single-valve DIN or Yoke fittings.
