For Travel Agencies & International Groups

We welcome dive clubs, travel agencies and international groups planning diving holidays in Ireland. We can provide information to help group leaders organise:

  • Ferry & flight connections
  • Local accommodation (hotels, glamping, guesthouses)
  • Tailored diving itineraries (fun dives, advanced dives, Wormhole trips)
  • Non-diver add-on activities for mixed groups

The Weather

The weather in Ireland can be unpredictable, but Inishmore often enjoys sunshine and clear skies while cloud and rain remain over the mainland. Its offshore Atlantic location gives the island its own distinctive weather patterns, although, as every Irish person knows, it is still wise to bring a rain jacket and sunglasses!

How to Get Here

Reaching Inishmore is easy:

  • From Connemara: Ferry ride ~45 minutes
  • From Doolin: Ferry ride ~45 minutes
  • By Plane: Flights available from Connemara Airport (short 10-minute hop)

We’ll meet you right at the ferry terminal, just a short walk from our dive centre. On arrival, you’ll check in, receive a gear box, and have a designated space to get changed before your adventure begins.

Where to Stay

There are several types of accommodation available within walking distance of Dive Aran and the ferry terminal, including:

  • Aran Islands Camping & Glamping
  • Hostel in Kilronan
  • The Hotel on Inishmore

You’ll also find B&Bs, guesthouses, and self-catering cottages across the island, giving plenty of choice for different group sizes and budgets.

Staying overnight allows you to fully enjoy the diving and soak up the relaxed island lifestyle. But if you’re visiting just for the day, you can still join us for an afternoon dive.

Dive Sites for Groups

One of our most popular sites, the Puffing Holes, offers an unforgettable dive along a dramatic vertical wall with overhangs, caves, and massive boulders. The walls are covered in colourful anemones, making it a breathtaking underwater experience.

We can organise up to four boat trips daily for groups. For example, if you bring 10 divers, each diver can enjoy two dives per day by splitting into smaller teams. Check out our dive sites

We can provide boat dives for up to 15 divers per day, based on three regular departures:

DepartureMaximum capacity
09:005 divers
12:305 divers
15:305 divers

This provides a total of 15 dive spaces each day. For example:

  • A group of 15 divers can each complete one dive per day.
  • A group of 10 divers can use the 15 spaces in any combination, some may dive twice and others once.
  • A group of 5 divers can complete up to three dives each.

During a multi-day stay, dive spaces can be allocated differently each day according to each diver’s needs, experience and preferred number of dives. The group leader can organise the spaces, and our team will help create a suitable schedule for the whole stay.

  • Our dive boat departs directly from the pier in front of the Dive Aran centre on Inis MΓ³r.
